How do I manually configure the settings in email applications to send and receive my Netscape Mail?
Learn how to configure the settings to use CompuServe Mail in email applications that are not developed by AOL, such as Outlook, Thunderbird, Windows 10 Mail, etc.
Below are instructions on how to manually configure the mail server and port settings on many common third-party email clients. Remember to use the Netscape supported configuration below while updating your mail settings.
NOTE: If you connect with mail.aol.com or the AOL app, you DO NOT need to make any changes to your settings in those interfaces.
Step 1: Find the IMAP/POP server settings in your email application.
These settings can usually be found under an account settings menu in your application. Then, go to step 2 to change your mail server and port settings.For specific help with email setup and configuration, you can find a list of common email applications and links to help for each of these below.

Step 2: Check your Server and port settings using the information provided in the Netscape Supported Configuration chart below.
Your email client might prompt you to select either IMAP or POP3. If you decide to change your configuration from POP3 to IMAP, be sure to save or backup your email to avoid potential loss during the transition.If you update your settings and can't retrieve your mail or encounter an error, check your username. It should be your full email address, including @wmconnect.com.
